The data error message

discovers a problem with data stored in memory.

Appearance of the data error message indicates that you must perform the all.
procedure to correct the probiem. Start out with the procedure under "To start the
reset operation" on page 11, and continue with the procedure under "When to pr:

* Even though you are not using the unit for the first time. you must press
"Yes") when the unit asks "ARE YOU USING A NEW UNIT FOR THE
TIME (Y/N)?" in order to reset the unit after a data error occurs.
if you still have trouble after trying the RESET operation, you may have a hardwz2
probiem. if so, consult with your nearest CASIO dealer.
