Changing the Depth of the Chorus Effect
You can select from 6 different Chorus levels.
1. Hold down the CHORUS
button for a few seconds until
you have confirmed that its indicator has started to flash.
2. With the CHORUS
button still pressed, press the appro-
priate Voice button to select the desired depth setting.

Applying Reverb to the Sound
You can select from 6 different Reverb levels.
1. Hold down the REVERB button for a few seconds and its
indicator will start to flash.
2. With the REVERB button still pressed, press the appropri-
ate Voice button to select the desired depth setting.

Using the Metronome
Press METRONOME button to activate the Metronome click.
Use the tempo + and - buttons to encrease or decrease the
Tempo.
To set the Metronome Volume:
1. Hold down the METRONOME
button for a few seconds
and its indicator will start to flash.
2. With
the METRONOME
button
still pressed,
set the
Volume using TEMPO +/- buttons.

Time Signature Setting
You can chose between 10 different Time Signature Settings.
1. Hold down the METRONOME
button for a few seconds
and its indicator will start to flash.
2. With the METRONOME
button still pressed, press a but-
ton as in the table below to select yor desired Time
Signature:

About MIDI...
The MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) standard was
created to provide for the exchange of performance informa-
tion among electronic musical instruments and computers.

The MIDI Connectors
Take a look at the rear panel of your piano. You should be
able to quickly find the two MIDI sockets. These connectors
enable the piano to 'converse' with other MIDI-equipped
units. The two connectors function as follows:
MIDI IN Connector
This connector is where messages from other MIDI-equipped
units are received, and can be likened to the "ears" which lis-
ten to what the other instrument has to convey.
MIDI OUT Connector
From this connector,
messages are sent out to other MIDI-
equipped units. It can be likened to the "mouth" in the ongo-
ing dialogue between the units.
