Description
Adjusts the basic features of your Entertainment Machine.
Automatically finds and stores active channels to flip through using Channel Up/Down.
Manually picks and chooses which active channels will appear when using Channel Up/Down and SURF.
Sets the time, automatically or manually.
Turns closed captioning on, off, or EZ Mute; set it to come on when the television is muted.
Chooses a captioning or text option for your Entertainment Machine.
Picks the language you want your on-screen menus to appear in.
Goes beyond basics and customizes your Entertainment Machine's
Sleep Timer, programs a time for your Entertainment Machine to turn itself off
after a certain amount of time.
On/Off Timer, programs times for your TV to turn itself on and off.
Labels your channels with their network names (ABC, CBS, HBO, etc.).
Turns the XDS program information feature on and off, see description below.
Allows parents to block any program or A/V source for up to 99 hours, with the use of a password.
Help menu offers several features from different menus that can be adjusted on one convenient menu.
Demonstrates the on-screen menus that control TV setup and operational features.
Customizes the sound to suit your room and taste. Your options are: Bass, Treble, Balance, Audio
Mode, Front Surround, EZ SoundRite, Speakers, EZ Sound.
Adjusts your picture for any viewing situation. Your options are: Contrast, Brightness, Color,
Tint, Sharpness, Video Filter, Color Temp, EZ Picture.
Controls the size and appearance of the PIP inset. Your options are: Color, Tint, Size.
Chooses from the available picture and sound sources, the Main screen picture and PIP inset picture.
Shows the current time, channel, video/audio source, and channel label if available.
If present, indicates PIP is on.
Shows the current sound level.
If provided by broadcaster on currently selected channel, may display some or all of the following
information: Program name, length of program, time left in program in hours and minutes,
and the Channel/Time/Audio display.
