Operation
Controlling temperatures
The refrigerator controls its temperature automatically.
However, you can adjust the temperature as follows if
needed.

Cooling operation stops.

・ For storing a small amount of food
・ When the door is not opened
frequently.
・ For cold season when the ambient
temperature is comparatively low.

For normal use.
MAX
・ For extreme cooling and storing
large amount of food.
NOTE:
When extreme cooling is not
required, make sure to return the
knob to the original position.
Otherwise all food may be frozen.
NOTE:
• The knob should not be beyond "MAX" position.
• When the knob is set at the "MIN" dew drops may
be formed.
• If the refrigerator is operated for a long time with
TEMPERATURE CONTROL is set at "MAX",
foods stored in the refrigerator compartment
may also freeze.

PURPOSE
Defrosting
The freezer compartment is required defrosting operation
when the thickness of the frost becomes 5mm (over the
defrost indicator).
The water is discharged into the soft freezing case.
Procedure
1. Take out the ice cube tray and foods stored in the
freezer compartment and soft freezing case.
2. Press the defrost button.

3. When the defrosting is fi nished, make sure to throw
away the water from the soft freezing case.
(Otherwise the defrosted water in the soft freezing
case will be frozen.)
• Cooling operation starts automatically after defrosting.
• To cancel the defrosting mode, turn the temperature
control knob to "OFF". After that, set the temperature
control knob as you choose.
How to remove the soft freezing case
1. Slide the soft freezing case out to the end.
2. Lift the soft freezing case up slightly.
3. Remove the soft freezing
case.

NOTE:
• Do not attempt to remove the frost in the freezer
compartment forcibly. Do not use a knife or a sharp
metal to remove the frost.
• If the thickness of the frost is over the defrost indicator,
make sure not to spill the defrosted water from the soft
freezing case.
• Make sure not to defrost when frozen food is stored in
the freezer compartment. Otherwise the foods may be
melted.
Take out the food from the freezer compartment and
soft freezing case before defrosting.
