Tuning in radio stations and storing them in memory
(preset operation)
"| Set the input source to tuner mode.
• Previous reception mode is resumed.
• Pressing thelBANDlkev also set the unit to tuner mode.
2 Select the broadcast band.
3 Select the tuning mode.
• Normally, select the auto mode {with AUTO lit).
4 Tune to the desired station.

The band is switched as follows every time the
I BAND I key is pressed.

Press the key to select the auto mode {AUTO lit) or
manual mode (not lit).
The TUNED indicator lights up when a station is received.
Use manual tuning mode when the radio signal is weak and
noisy. At this time, stereo FM broadcasts are received in
monaural mode.
5 Store the station in preset memory.
© Press the MEMORY key.
Proceed to step <f> beforel MEMORYmoes off.
CD Press the desired numeric key.

• If a station has previously been preset under the selected
numeric key, the newly preset station replaces the previous
station.
• To continue presetting, repeat steps 2 to 5.
• Up to 10 broadcast stations can be preset in each
broadcasting band.

Manual tuning mode
Press once.
(Tuning stops automatically
when a station is received.)
Press repeatedly, or press and
■ hold, until the desired station
is received.
I MEMORYl lights up for approx. 5 sec.
