the computer
off, then on

Verify that both the brightness and
contrast controls on the computer
are properly adjusted.
Verify that:
1. The battery pack is correctly
installed.
2. The AC adapter is connected
to the computer and the
power cord is plugged into a
working electrical outlet.
3. The computer power switch is
turned on.
4. The speaker volume control is
set to the rightmost (loudest)
position.
If the above items are correct and
the screen remains blank, have
the computer serviced.
