@ SYNCHRO
EDIT Jack
This is an input jack for simple editing (mini stereo jack).
To edit with this jack, use the system equipped with a
Synchro
Edit Output Jack,
such
as AG-7450
(with
AG-S745) or AG-450.
Note:
Be sure to set the Framing Selector to "OFF" and the
Automatic Back Space Selector to "ON" by ON-SCREEN
mode.
CAMERA
REMOTE
Jack
Used to connect the remote control cable from the video
camera.
With the signal at low, recording pause mode can be set
and the VISS signal can be recorded.
By setting ON-SCREEN, this jack can be used as an input
jack for the command
to record the VISS signal.
REC
REMOTE
Jack
Used to record the video and audio signals from the
master VTR when the unit simultaneously dubbing sever-
al VTRs (up to 100 VTRs
maximum).
The recording mode can be set with the signal at low.
STOP,
EJECT, AUTO-REW,
AUTO-REW
EJECT and
canceling REC REMOTE can be set by ON-SCREEN.

This jack is used to record and playback time code singal.
IN:
Connect this jack to the output jack of a time code
generator when
you wish to record time code
signal.
OFF:
Connect this jact to the input jack of a time code
reader and play back time code signal.
Note:
Be sure to set the Audio CH2 Selector to "TIME CODE"
by ON-SCREEN
mode.
Audio Input (CH1/CH2) Jacks
These are the audio input jacks for two channels (CH1
and
CH2).
They
accept
signal
from
external
audio
equipment such as a tape recorder, record player, etc.
Hi-Fi Sound
Input (CH1/CH2) Jacks
These input jacks are intended exclusively for recording
Hi-Fi Sound.
@ Audio Output (CH1/CH2) Jacks

Connect these jacks to audio (stereo, etc.) equipment
using audio cable. You can select either Normal Audio or
Hi-Fi Sound using the Audio Output Selector (€ on front
panel).
