    1. EINLEITUNG Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich dazu entschlossen haben, ein be quiet! Netzteil der Straight Power Serie in Ihrem Rechner einzusetzen. Um Ihnen mögliche erste Fragen im Vorwege zu beantworten, haben wir die Vorteile und Besonderheiten der Straight Power Serie in diesem umfassenden Handbuch zusammengefasst. Die neueste Generation der Straight Power Serie bietet Ihnen viele Erweiterungen und ist eine konsequente Weiterentwicklung der sehr erfolgreichen Vorserie. Falls Sie weitere Fragen haben, richten Sie diese gerne an unseren Kundenservice. Siehe Kontaktdaten unter Punkt 10.

    Für den Fall, dass Sie Ihr Netzteil reinigen wollen, trennen Sie es komplett vom Stromnetz und benutzen Sie keine feuchten Tücher oder Reinigungsmittel. Reinigen Sie das Netzteil nur von außen mithilfe eines trockenen Tuches. Nehmen Sie das Netzteil erst nach einer Stunde in Raumluftumgebung in Betrieb, da sich anderenfalls Kondenswasser im Netzteil bilden könnte.

    Technische Vorteile: ATX 12V Version 2.3: be quiet! bietet mit der Straight Power CM Serie ein Netzteil an, welches der neuesten ATX12V Spezifikation entspricht. Es bietet 4 separate 12V Leitungen, die sich vorteilhaft auf die zuverlässige Funktion des Systems auswirken. PCI Express Stecker: Die Netzteile der Straight Power Serie verfügen über bis zu vier 6 bzw.8 Pin Stecker, die für den Einsatz von PCI-Express Grafikkarten notwendig sind. Jeder Stecker ist in der Grundform ein 6-poliger Stecker, der sich durch das Anstecken zwei weiterer Pins zu einem 8-poligen Stecker umformen lässt.
  • Page 8 Bauen Sie Ihr altes Netzteil zunächst aus. Verfahren Sie hierfür wie folgt: 1. T rennen Sie Ihren PC von allen vorhandenen Stromquellen und ziehen Sie alle am PC angeschlossenen Kabel vorsichtig ab. 2. Ö ffnen Sie das PC Gehäuse und achten Sie gegebenenfalls auf die Anleitung des Herstellers. 3. Trennen Sie alle Stecker vom Mainboard und allen weiteren Komponenten, wie FDD, HDD oder optischen Laufwerken. Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass kein Stecker des alten Netzteiles mit einer Komponente verbunden ist.

    OTP (Temperatursicherung) Falls das Netzteil mit einer zu hohen Temperatur betrieben werden sollte, schaltet es sich automatisch ab. Sie können es dann nach dem Abkühlen wieder einschalten. Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass der PC mit einer ausreichenden Kühlung ausgestattet ist. OPP (Überlastschutz) Diese Sicherung löst aus, wenn die gesamte Leistung, die dem Netzteil abverlangt wird, höher ist, als die spezifizierte Höchstlast. Dies kann passieren, wenn das Netzteil nicht über genügend Leistung für das System verfügt. 7.

Falls die Probleme weiter bestehen, setzen Sie sich bitte umgehend mit unserem Kundenservice in Verbindung. Alle eingehenden Rücksendungen werden von unserem RMA-Service geprüft. Falls sich ein Netzteil als fehlerfrei herausstellen sollte, wird es an den Kunden zurückgeschickt. Darüber hinaus behalten wir uns vor eine Prüfpauschale für den entstandenen Aufwand zu erheben.

In order to be able to answer your initial questions in advance, we have summarized the advantages and specifics of the Straight Power series in this comprehensive manual. The latest generation of the Straight Power series offers you many experiences and is a consequent further development of the very successful pilot production.     Make sure that there is a sufficient amount of ventilation in your computer case, for example, with an additional fan. Should you want to clean your power supply, separate it completely from the power supply system and do not use damp towels or cleaning agents. Only clean the power supply from the exterior using a dry towel. Only start the operation of the power supply after an hour within the room air environment, because otherwise, condensation can build up in the power supply. 3.

PCI express connectors: The power supplies from the Straight Power series have up to four 6 or 8 pin connectors that are necessary for the usage of PCI express graphic cards. In its basic form, every connector is a 6 pole connector that can be converted into an 8 pole connector by adding two additional pins. (varies by model) Where possible please always follow the plug numbering to connect to the same graphic card.

    You must first remove your old power supply. For this, proceed as follows: 1. S eparate your PC from all available sources of electricity and carefully remove all cables attached to the PC. 2. O pen the PC case and if necessary, observe the manufacturer instructions. 3. Remove all connectors from the mainboard and all additional components such as FDD, HDD or optical drives. Please make sure that no connectors from the old power supply are connected to a component. 4. Now unscrew the screws on the backside of the power supply and carefully remove the power supply. When doing this, make sure that no cables get caught on components and thus, become damaged.

    OTP (Temperature safeguard) If the temperature within the power supply rises to a level where the hardware might be damaged the power supply will automatically turn off. When the temperature falls the power supply can be used again. Always make sure that your system receives enough cooling. OPP (Over power protection) This safeguard is triggered when the entire performance demanded of the power supply is higher than the specified peak load. This can happen if the power supply doesn‘t have enough capacity left.

    Problem: After installing a new graphics card, the PC can no longer be turned on or crashes with practically every opportunity: You have installed a new higher performance graphics card in your system and now your PC no longer starts or it seems to crash immediately with the first workload. La toute dernière génération de la gamme Straight Power constitue une évolution de la gamme précédente, très demandée, et vous propose de nombreuses extensions. Avec l’utilisation de cartes graphiques haute performance, de processeurs toujours plus rapides, les systèmes informatiques sont de plus en plus exigeants, générant ainsi une forte consommation électrique.

    Assurez-vous que votre PC ne se trouve pas directement à proximité d’un chauffage ou d’une autre source de chaleur, car ceci pourrait réduire la durée de vie de tous les composants et provoquer des pannes. Veillez à ce qu’une ventilation suffisante, notamment par le biais de ventilateurs supplémentaires, soit prévue dans le boîtier de votre ordinateur, car le bloc d’alimentation ATX ne peut assurer seul l’évacuation de toute la chaleur produite dans le boîtier du PC.

    Démontez tout d’abord votre ancien bloc d’alimentation. Pour ce faire, veuillez procéder ainsi : 1. D ébranchez votre PC de toutes les sources de courant et déconnectez avec prudence tous les câbles reliés au PC. 2. O uvrez le boîtier du PC et respectez, le cas échéant, les instructions du fabricant. 3. D ébranchez tous les connecteurs de la carte mère, ainsi que ceux de tous les autres composants tels que disquettes, disques durs et autres lecteurs optiques. Veillez à ce qu’aucun connecteur de l’ancien bloc d’alimentation ne soit relié à un composant. 4. R etirez à présent les vis se trouvant à l’arrière du bloc d’alimentation et sortez-le prudemment. Pour ce faire, faites attention à ce qu’aucun câble ne soit emmêlé aux composants et les endommage.

    OTP (protection contre les températures trop élevées) Si la température du bloc d’alimentation est trop élevée, celui-ci s’éteint automatiquement. Vous pouvez le remettre sous tension une fois refroidi. Veillez à ce que le refroidissement de votre PC soit suffisant. OPP (protection contre les surcharges) Cette sécurité se déclenche lorsque la puissance totale demandée au bloc d’alimentation est plus élevée que la charge maximale indiquée. Ceci peut survenir lorsque le bloc d’alimentation ne dispose pas d’une puissance suffisante pour le système.

Vous avez installé une nouvelle carte graphique plus performante sur votre système et à présent, l’ordinateur ne démarre plus ou plante dès la moindre surcharge. Le bloc d’alimentation est trop faible pour votre carte graphique. Veuillez vous rendre sur www.be-quiet.fr afin de consulter notre configurateur et d’évaluer quel est le bloc le plus approprié à votre besoin.

    9. CONSIGNES POUR LA GESTION DES DÉCHETS Les appareils électriques et électroniques usagés ne peuvent plus, selon les directives européennes*, être jetés avec les déchets ménagers. Ils doivent être triés. Contribuez vous aussi à la protection de l’environnement et veillez à éliminer l’appareil que vous ne souhaitez plus utiliser dans le cadre des systèmes de tri des déchets. En France, il vous est interdit, au vue de la législation**, de jeter un appareil usagé avec vos ordures ménagères non triées. Głównie dzięki zastosowaniu wysokowydajnych kart graficznych oraz szybszych procesorów zużywają więcej energii elektrycznej zwłaszcza na przewodach +12V. Zasilacze serii Straight Power to idealne rozwiązanie pod względem rezerw wydajności dla pracy kart graficznych PCI Express technologii SLI lub CrossFire. Zasilacze serii Straight Power wykazują bardzo wysoki i niespotykany na rynku stopień skuteczności ponad 93%. OSTRZEŻENIA I WSKAZÓWKI DOTYCZĄCE BEZPIECZEŃSTWA Przed instalacją proszę uważnie przeczytać wszystkie punkty niniejszej instrukcji.   • Page 30 Proszę upewnić się, iż wentylacja w obudowie komputera jest wystarczająca, np. dzięki pracy dodatkowych wentylatorów. Zasilacz ATX nie jest odpowiedzialny wyłącznie za odprowadzenie całkowitego produkowanego w komputerze ciepła. W celu oczyszczenia zasilacza należy go całkowicie wyłączyć z sieci.     Zalety techniczne ATX12V wersja 2.3: Wraz z serią Straight Power be quiet! oferuje zasilacz odpowiadający najnowszej specyfikacji ATX12V. Zasilacze posiadają cztery oddzielne przewody 12V, co wpływa korzystnie na niezawodność systemu. Gniazda PCI express: Zasilacze serii Straight Power posiadają maksymalnie cztery złącza 6-pin lub 8-pin, które są konieczne do podłączenia kart graficznych PCI-Express. Każde z nich jest w zasadzie złączem 6-pin, które można przekształcić w złącze 8-pin przez dodanie dwóch dodatkowych igieł. (w zależności od modelu) Prosimy o używanie zawsze tego samego numeru złącza dla tej samej karty graficznej (VGA 1 dla karty graficznej 1 i VGA 2 dla karty graficznej 2).
