Water Connection
@ The inlet hose is approx. 4' long; a
longer hose (12') may be bought
irom the Miele Spare Parts De-
partment.
@ 4 stopcock/faucet with a 3/4" male
thread must be provided on site.
® For the Miele "Waterproof" leak pro-
tection system to function properly,
the inlet hose must be connected to
the stopcock/faucet in the correct
manner. Please follow the separate
installation instructions for the
"Waterproof system" unit.
@® Water pressure must be between
14.5 PSI and 145 PSI. Max. temp.
140° F.
In case
of varying or extra low
pressure, the MIELE Service Dept.
will advise.
NB. The dishwasher is suitable for hot
water connection.

Water Drainage
® A non-return valve is built into the
appliance to prevent dirty water
from running back into the dish-
washer,
@ The appliance is equipped with a
4' long flexible hose, approx. 7/s" in
diameter.
@ Longer drain hoses are available.
@ A hose clamp is enclosed for con-
nection to drain system.
@ The drainage hose should not be
longer than 12° and pump height
should not exceed 3'.
@® [he drainage hose should not be
shortened.

lation instructions carefully.
