REATING
ACRO
A macro is a series of commands assigned to a single
button. Once you have programmed your other
Step 3,
components' remotes into the RAV120, you can create
Step 8
macros (also see Making A New Macro on page 40 of
the Yamaha R-V 902 Owner's Manual).
For example, if you frequently turn on the R-V902,
VCR, and TV, follow the steps below to create a macro
that will power down these components:
1. Open the lid of the RAV120.
2. Slide the Macro switch (on the side of the RAV120)
to QUICK.
3. Use a paper clip or mechanical pencil to press the
MACRO selector.
4. Press the OFF button to clear the original factory
macro and assign the new sequence of functions
(i.e., steps 5, 6, and 7) to this button.
5. Press the TV button.
6. Press the VCR button.
7. Press the OFF button.
8. Press the MACRO selector to create the macro.
9. Close the lid of the RAV120.
Step 2
10. Press OFF to try your macro program. If it doesn't
work, slide the Macro switch (on the side of the
RAV120) to SLOW and repeat steps 1 through 10.
