The following
audio files are converted to the ATRAC3 format and can be imported to OpenMG
Jukebox.

MP3 file
You can import Raw MI'3 (with extension .mp3) and RIFF Ml'3 (with extension .wav or .mp3) files.
MP3 files of 16 bits, monaural/stereo,
32 kHz/44.1 kHz/48 kHz.

WAV file
WAV files of linear KM,
16 bits, monaural/stereo,
32 kHz/44.1 kHz/48 kHz.
l
WMT (Windows Media Technologies)
compliant
audio file downloaded
via EMD
WMT files of 16 bits, monaural/stereo,
44.1 kHz.
Depending on the copyright protection, some WMT compliant audio files may not be available
for importing.
For Network
Walkman
players
(except
for NW-E7/ElO/S4)
To transfer (check-out) songs to the Network Walkman, it is necessary to convert the audio files
to be checked-out into ATRAC3 format. Audio files converted into ATRACS format can be
imported to the OpenMG Jukebox by using the Import feature. (It is also possible to import files
in their original format and to convert into ATRAC3 format when checking-out.)

When the audio files to be checked-out are in the MI'3 format, it is possible to import them as
they are and to transfer (check-out) them to the Music Clip/Network
Walkman NW-E7/ElO/S4
player.
You
can only import MI'3 files encoded with a bit rate up to 256 kbps (except for files encoded
with a variable bit rate). The copyright information
of the files is also checked before importing.

For other format audio files, to conversion to ATRAC3 format is necessary before transferring
(checking-out) them. (It is also possible to import files in their original format and to convert
into ATRACS format when checking-out.)
