GENERAL INTRODUCTION
This manual has been written to help the skilled service
technician to service and repair the TEAC C-1 Stereo
Cassette Deck. It is a highly sophisticated deck incorporat-
ing many advanced features to satisfy the demands of the
purist. These include three motors, three heads, dual capstan
drive, plug-in bias/EQ cards, peak level meters, electronic
signal switching and many more.
The data given in this manual should enable the competent
technician to maintain the professional standards of which
this deck is capable. However, if any of the adjustments or
repairs are too difficult or complicated to accomplish,
please contact the nearest TEAC Factory Service Department
or write directly to a TEAC office. TEAC addresses are print-
ed on the back cover of this Service Manual.
