13. DIGI-LINK OUTPUT JACK
The digilink system allows select Sherwood components to controlled remotely via the Receivers unified
Remote control. Connect this DIGI-LINK
OUTPUT
JACK to the data input jack on the compatible
Sherwood compact disc player model No. CD-3010R, CDC-2000C, CDC-2010R, CDC-3010R, and cassette
deck model No. DD-4010C.
14. REMOTE CONTROL DATA OUTPUT JACK
Connect this remote output jack to the data input jack on the compatible Sherwood mechanical control
cassette deck model No. DD-2010C, DD-1010C.
15. SPEAKER IMPEDENCE SELECTOR SWITCH
Switch for selecting the 4 ohm or 8 ohm speakers.
NOTE: Turn off the receiver's power before changing the impedance selector switchsetting.
16. SPEAKER TERMINALS: A AND B
The Receiver enables you to listen to two pairs of speakers individually or in various combinations. Connect
your main left(L) and right(R) speakers to the corresponding "A" speaker terminals and use "B" speaker
terminals for a remote pair located elsewhere in your home. For all speaker connections, make sure that the
phasing is correct. L/R terminals on the Receiver must be connected to the plus(+) terminal on the speaker,
and likewise G/G terminals for the negative(—) terminal.
17. AC SWITCHED OUTLETS
These outlets provide AC power for other components of your system such as compatible turntable and
cassette deck. Power can be switched on and off by the power switch on the front panel or by the remote
commander.
NOTE: Do not connect equipment whose power consumption exceed the maximum value shown at each
,
outlets, SWITCHED:
TOTAL 100 watts.
18. AC INPUT
Plug the cord set into the wall outlet.
19. MULTI-ROOM CONTROL INPUT JACK
You can operate the main system by remote control from a different room when an optional MULTI-ROOM
REMOTE CONTROL
unit and speaker system are installed.
