Detergent drawer guidelines

With the automatic dispensing option on, the washing machine dispenses an adequate amount of
detergent or fabric softener for each load. See below for details:

A. Dispenser
- You can only use liquid detergent in this
dispenser.

- You can use liquid fabric softener or liquid
detergent in this dispenser.
A
- This dispenser is set to dispense fabric softener
as a default. You may change the setting to use
this dispenser to dispense detergent. For more
information, see the "Dispenser" section on page
43.
C. Manual detergent compartment
- You can use this compartment, to add the desired
amount of liquid detergent, powder detergent, or
fabric softener for a single wash cycle.
- To use the detergent in this compartment, make
sure the auto-dispensing option is off. (For more
information on turning the auto-dispensing off,
see the "Dose per Wash" and "Dose per Rinse"
sections on page 40.
CAUTION
• Do not exceed the max line (D) when adding
detergent into the manual detergent compartment.
This may affect the washing results adversely.
• Do not use any cleaning agents for cleaning the
drum. Chemical residue in the drum deteriorates the
washing performance.
