  • Page 3 INTRODUCTION Introducing the Scoop & Score Dolphin by VTech ! This dolphin ® hoop features three balls for fun basketball play and a fun sized pouring cup for pouring play. The light up star button plays fun phrases, sing-along songs and melodies to make playtime more exciting.

NOTE Please keep this Instruction Manual as it contains important information.
  • Page 5 WARNINGS: • Battery must be changed by an adult. • We do not recommend submerging the unit in the water. If the unit does get submerged in the water, please dry the unit completely before changing the battery. • This toy can only be operated in water when fully assembled in accordance with the instructions. • When closing the battery cover ensure that the screw is securely tightened. This will avoid any water leakage. • To prevent drowning, never leave a child unattended in the bath. • Use a thermometer to check the temperature of the water before sitting a child in the bath. Toddlers have very sensitive skin and can burn easily if the water is too hot.

    GETTING STARTED BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned Off. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. If a used battery is present, remove the battery from the unit by pulling up on one end of the battery.

    IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION • Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries. • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. • Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: • Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging. • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

    PRODUCT ASSEMBLY Scoop & Score Dolphin, safety comes first. With the VTech ® To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required. 1. Choose a surface on the wall surrounding the bath where the suction cup support unit can be mounted securely. The area should be clean and dry before suctioning the unit to the wall.

    3. To remove the unit from the wall, pull the tab on the suction cup and pull the dolphin gently. WARNING: To prevent the risk of injuries, do not attach the VTech Scoop & ® Score Dolphin any higher than a child’s head height when sitting in the bath.

Hoop Press the Hoop slightly to hear fun sounds, the Hoop will rebound automatically. Throw the balls into the Hoop to have fun! The Hoop can be pulled down vertically for easier storage.
