The alarm time is the time at which you wish to be woken.
@ Keep the ALARM SET button (2) pressed. The display now shows the alarm
time.
e Set the required alarm time using the HOUR and MINUTE buttons (2).
@ Release the ALARM SET button. The display again shows the correct time.
You can check the alarm time by pressing the ALARM SET button (2).
The clock radio can wake you in 3 ways:
1. By radio
@ Make sure the volume of the radio is loud enough to wake you.
e Set the mode selector (1) to RADIO.
e Press the ALARM ON/OFF button (7) (ON = =). The alarm indicator on the
display (3) comes on.
e At the set alarm time you will be woken by the radio.
By buzzer
e Set the mode selector (1) to BUZZER.
e Press the ALARM ON/OFF button (7) (ON = =). The alarm indicator on the
display (3) comes on.
@ At the set alarm time you will be woken by the buzzer.
By cassette
@ Make sure the volume is loud enough to wake you.
e Set the mode selector G) to TAPE.
e Press the ALARM ON/OFF button (7) (ON = =). The alarm indicator on the
display (3) comes on.
e Place a prerecorded cassette in the cassette holder and press the » PLAY
button.
e At the set alarm time you will be woken by the cassette player.
e Atthe end ofthe cassette or if the ۶ PLAY button is not pressed, the BUZZER
will automatically take over.
You can switch off the alarm in 3 ways:
1.
Switching off the alarm for 9 minutes
e Press the REPEAT ALARM button (6). With this button you temporarily switch
off the alarm. After nine minutes the alarm (radio, buzzer or cassette) will
sound again. If you again press the REPEAT ALARM button, the same will
happen again. If the REPEAT ALARM button @) is not pressed again, the
alarm will switch itself off after 1 hour and 59 minutes. The following day the
alarm signal will sound again at the set alarm time.
Switching off the alarm for 24 hours
@ Press the AL. OFF button (5). The alarm is now switched off for 24 hours and
will sound again the next day at the same time.
Switching off the alarm completely
@ Set the ALARM ON/OFF button @ to OFF m. On the display the alarm
indicator will disappear and the alarm is now switched off. If you wish to be
woken the following day again, you must press the ALARM ON/OFF button
(7) (ON = =) before going to sleep.
