10.3 Special salt

You can soften water with special
salt.
Pour in special salt
If the special salt refill indicator lights
up, fill special salt into the special salt
storage container immediately before
starting the program. The consumption
of special salt depends on the degree of
water hardness. The higher the water
hardness, the higher the consumption
of special salt.
DANGER!
Cleaner can damage the softening
system.
Only fill the storage container of
the softening system with special
salt for dishwashers.
Special salt for dishwashers can
damage the washing container
through corrosion.
To ensure that overflowed special
salt is rinsed out of the rinsing
container, fill the special salt into the
special salt storage container
immediately before the program
starts.
Unscrew and remove the lid from

When using for the first time: Fill

with water.

10.4 Switch off the softening
system
If the special salt refill indicator
bothers you, e.g. B. if you use
combined cleaners with salt
substitutes, you can switch off the
special salt refill indicator.
Notice
To avoid damage to the device, only
switch off the softening system in the
following cases: ¡The water hardness
level is maximum
times 21 °dH and you use a
combined cleaner with salt
substitutes. According to the
manufacturer, you can usually only
use combined cleaners with salt
substitutes up to a water hardness
of 21 °dH without adding special
salt.
