WHICH BUTTONS ARE WHERE ?
(1) ALARM 2 - to set alarm time 2
(2 ALARM 1 - to set alarm time 1
(3) TIME - to set time

X + 4 - fast X and slow 4 forward
O Y + v - fast Y and slow e backward
(6) LIGHT SENSOR - senses the light in the room
(7) light switch
HIGH - the night light shines at full strength
LOW - the night light shines at half strength
OFF - the night light is switched off
BAND - for waveband selection
(3) TUNING - for station selection
VOLUME - to adjust sound level
(y) AL.2 3% - alarm 2 is switched on
(G) REPEAT ALARM/SLUMBER OFF
repeat alarm - to switch off alarm temporarily
slumber off - to switch off slumber function
(3 AL.1 3% - alarm 1 is switched on
(3) SLUMBER - to slumber/set slumber time

RADIO ON - radio is switched on
OFF - radio and alarm are switched off

This appliance conforms to the radio interference
suppression requirements of the European Com-
munity.
The type plate is located on the base of the
appliance.
CLOCK RADIO
MAINS CONNECTION
Checkifthe mains voltage as shown onthe type plate
on the base of the set corresponds to your local
mains supply. If it does not, consult your dealer or
service organisation.
As soon as you insert the mains plug into the wall
socket, the figures on the display will blink. This
means that you must set the correct time.
Important note for users In U.K.:
When fiting a mains plug to the mains lead proceed as follows
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance vath the
following code: Blue = Neutral, Brown = Lva.
These colours may not correspond with the colour markings identifying
the terminals in your plug, so proceed as follows:
Connect the Brown wire to the terminal marked L or coloured Red
Connect the Blue wire to the terminal marked N or coloured Black
No connection is necessary to the earth terminal
Note: This apparatus must be protected by a 3 Amp Fuse if a 13 Amp
plug is used or, if any other type of plug is used, by a5 Amp Fuse either
in the plug or adapter or at the distribution board. If in doubt consult
a qualified electrician.
Waming:When this unitis notin use and also before attempting internal
examination, remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
CLOCK
Clock display
The clock display shows the time. The display also
indicates whether you have switched on the alarm. If
alarm 1'is on, then indicator AL.1 (3) lights up. For
alarm 2 indicator AL.2 (9 lights up and for the dual
alarm both light up.
Appliances provided with a 12-hour clock system
Appliances provided with a 12-hour clock system
have an PM-indicator.
In case of PM, the PM-indicator will light up (on = PM,
off
2 AM).
Setting the time
e Keep TIME button (3) depressed and set the
correct time as follows:
— Fast and slow forward with the + 4 buttons (3).
— Fast and slow backward with the ¥ + v
buttons ($).
