You can quickl'+ h)cate a particular point on a
disc by monitoring the picture or playing back
slowly.

Locating a point quickly by
playing a disc in fast forward
or fast reverse (Scan)
(except for JPEG)
Press <1/-4<1 or ll,.l_/I _- while playing a disc.
When you find the point you want, press I2::>to
return to normal speed. Each lime you press _l/
or ll,.l_al_- during scan, the playback speed
changes. With each press the indication changes
as shown below. Actual speeds may difl'cr wilh
some discs.

pause mode. To return lo the normal playback
speed, press I:2::>. E ach time you press <11/-4<1 or
ll,.l_/ll_ during Slow-motkm Play, the playback
speed changes. Two speeds are available. With
each press tile indication changes as R)llows:

• You cannot search fi)r a still picture on a DVD-R/
DVD-RW in VR mode.
• For DATA CD<,/DATA DVDs, this hlnction works
only for DivX video files. (except for North
