1. Programme Guide
This is a summary of the washing programme chart
(page 12) to help you to select the correct programme.
2. Pilot Light
This comes on when the ON/OFF button (3) is de-
pressed, indicating that the machine is on.

3. ON/OFF Pushbutton 56
ON
By depressing this pushbutton the machine starts op-
erating and, at the same time, the pilot light comes on.
OFF
When the washing programme has finished, the ma-
chine stops automatically and the pilot light (2) re-
mains on.
To switch the pilot light off or to stop the machine at
any time, press the same button bo again.
4. Wash Temperature Pushbutton 45°C
This pushbutton allows a reduction in the required wa-
ter temperature.
When depressed the water will heat up to 45°C.
5. Wash Temperature Pushbutton 55°C
This pushbutton allows a reduction in the required wa-
ter temperature.
When depressed the water will heat up to 55°C.

6. Super Intensity Pushbutton
SID
This button allows selection of the most Intensive
wash programme, suitable for very heavily soiled pots,
pans and crockery.
When pressing this button, do remember to load the
detergent also in the SUPER INTENSITY DISPENSER
(SID) placed in the centre of the upper basket.
7. Door Handle
To open the door press the catch in the top of the re-
cess and pull the door toward you at the same time.
8. Programme Selector Dial
To select a programme, push the Programme Selector
Dial in to make it pop out. Then turn it clockwise, mak-
ing sure that the programme letter you wish to select
corresponds with the Green Marker (9) on the window.
When the programme has finished, the White Marker
will correspond with the Green Marker (9).

10. Salt Empty Indicator Light S
This light will come on when the salt container needs
refilling.
This light will remain on in a soft water area where salt
is not required.
