Choosing a Site for Your Terminal
Place the terminal on a hard, level surface such as a desk, table or stand designed for
this purpose.
CAUTION
Do not place objects on top of the display unit, as this blocks the
unit's air vents.
Keyboard Cable
To connect the keyboard cable to the keyboard:
1.
Unwrap the cable. Take the longest flat portion of the cable and plug the connector
into the jack at the rear of the keyboard (recessed in the center back).
2.
Route the cable to the right or left as desired. Tuck the flat portion of the cable un-
der the cable channel protector at the rear of the keyboard. Direct the cable through
the slot at the end of the cable channel.
