For Reduced the VCR's Power
Consumption When the VCR Is Switched
Off
Follow steps 1 to 2 of TAPE SELECT.
3 Press the Cursor buttons
(AT) ©
to select "POWER SAVE" then
select "ON" or "OFF by pressing
the Cursor buttons (◄ ►) ©.
ON: This setting makes the
display disappear when
the VCR is off.
It will not operate in the
Timer standby mode.
After recording all
programmed data, the
VCR will go into Power
save mode.
OFF: This setting does not conserve power when the
VCR is off.

4 Press the MENU button © twice to exit the On Screen
Display.
To Set to the Conditions for Direct
Recording Function
Follow steps 1 to 2 of TAPE SELECT.
3 Press the Cursor buttons {AV) ©
to select "DIRECT REC" then
select "ON" or "OFF by pressing
the Cursor buttons
OFF: Initially set at this position.
ON: This setting enables
Direct Recording.
AV Input (AV) becomes
exclusive channel for
Direct Recording.
