  • Page 8 Using the Joystick Button You can operate the projector by pressing the button or moving the joystick left, right, up, or down. Basic functions When the projector is turned off, place your Power On finger on the joystick button, press it once, and release it.

    Projection Distance per Screen Size Place the projector on a sturdy, level surface, together with the PC or audio/ video source. Place the projector an appropriate distance away from the screen. The distance between the projector and the screen determines the actual size of the image. Position the projector so that the lens is at a right angle to the screen.

    Adjusting the Focus of the Projection Display When an image appears on the screen, check if it is in focus and fits the screen properly. To adjust the focus of the image, slowly adjust the focus ring to the left or right while looking at the top centre of the screen.

    Adjusting the Position of Projection Display You can use the Projection Screen (Lens) Position Adjustment Dial to adjust the position of the projection screen without moving the projector up, down, left or right. If the projection screen does not align properly on the screen even after adjusting the position of the projection screen using the Projection Screen (Lens) Position Adjustment Dial, use the [Edge Adjustment] function.
  • Page 18 How to Use the Projection Screen (Lens) Position Adjustment Dial You can use the dial to move the position of the projection screen (lens) without moving the projector.     USING REMOTE CONTROL Inserting Batteries in the Remote Control Use 1.5 V, AAA-type alkaline batteries. Replace the two batteries with new ones and insert them according to the direction indicator inside the remote control. Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote control.

    Viewing the Remote Control Features (Power) Turns the Projector on or off. (Input) Selects the input mode. Turns the Projector on. Turns the Projector off. Reduces power consumption by adjusting peak screen brightness. This function is not supported. Number and Alphabet buttons Enters numerical or alphabetical characters depending upon the setting.

    MAKING CONNECTIONS You can connect various external devices to your projector. Change the input mode and select the external device you want to connect. For more information about external device connections, see the user manual provided with each device. Connecting to a PC Some of the cables are not provided.
