PREPARING YOUR VIVICAM 3650

Installing the Batteries (Optional Accessory)

You may use 2 AA size batteries (either Alkaline or Ni-MH) to power your camera.
1. Make sure your ViviCam 3650 is off.
2. Slide the battery/SD card cover.
3. Insert the batteries noting the correct polarity marks (+ or -).
4. Close the battery/SD card cover. Slide into locked position.
Note:
Never use manganese batteries.
Never use different types of batteries (together) or mix old and new batteries.
Avoid using the batteries in extremely cold environments as low temperatures may shorten the battery life and
reduce the camera performance.
Low temperature will influence alkaline battery performance.
Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.
If you won't be using the batteries for an extended period of time, remove them from the camera to prevent the
leakage or corrosion.
New batteries or batteries that have not been used for an extended period of time (batteries that pass the
expiry date are exceptions) might affect the number of images that can be captured. Therefore, to maximize
their performance and lifetime, we recommend that you fully charge the batteries and discharge them for at
least one complete cycle before use.
You may also use a CR-V3 lithium battery pack.
