Flags and the Video Interface
Several flags that affect how the HP-41 sends information to printer type devices-such as the video
interface-are described in the HP 82160A HP-IL Module Owner's Manual. However, the calculator
responds differently to flags 12 and 13 when sending information to the video interface. When either or
both of these flags are set, a space is inserted in front of data that is sent to the interface (except by
