WARNING! Do not place anything combustible close to heater, above the heater, and on both sides of the heater. This includes but not limited to towels, lights, robe hooks, accessories, etc. Nothing should be on the same wall as your heater that is combustible.

9. Allow 30 seconds between turning the control system “On” and “Off”. By allowing 30 seconds between powering the control system “On” and “Off” will prolong the life of the unit. 10. Confirm that you adhere to the correct power requirements of the control system. Connecting the control system to other than the required voltage can damage the control system and possibly cause serious injury.

24. Pregnant women should never use the sauna. Women should also not use the sauna during their menstrual cycle. 25. If you have any medical condition, you must consult with your medical doctor before using the sauna. 26. Be cautious not to over extend yourself after an intense exercise workout by using the sauna.

Each Barrel Sauna will need between 66-68 staves plus 1 set of the staves (narrow) for assembly. You will end up with some extra staves (wide) and some extra staves (narrow). The rain cover is an optional accessory. Stave (wide) Stave (narrow set) What’s Needed: 3 Adults...
Assembly Instructions 1. Place Bottom Support Cradles Place the bottom support cradles at their desired locations. See figure 1. Determine where the front and rear cradles will be positioned. The Karlstad model will have (3) support cradles. See figure 1a. The end support cradles will have a sticker indicating where the first stave will screw to the cradle.

17” 17” 3.7” 72” figure 2 M5*50 figure 2a 3. Place Staves On Support Cradles Align the two ends of the staves. Carefully and accurately place them into the clamping staves. Use the leveler to make sure that each stave is placed level and straight.

rubber mallet. Keep the staves snug and tight. The two staves with the pre-drilled holes will be the 7 staves (not counting the first installed stave) on the right and left. These two staves will need to be screwed down to the support cradles. Use the provided M5*50 screws to attached these staves to the support cradles.

6. Continuing to Install Bottom Half of Acrylic Rear Panel You will need to locate the two wood planks that are used to connect the bottom and top acrylic rear wall sections. Use the provided screws to attach the two horizontal wood planks to each other (one on the interior and one on the exterior) through the acrylic rear wall lower section.

Carefully and accurately place them onto the front wall panel and acrylic rear wall. Use the leveler and mallet to make sure that each stave is placed level and straight.

Install Staves After reaching the 21 stave on the right side (when standing and facing the front door of the barrel sauna), you can stop on the right side and continue to install the staves from the left side until you have almost reached the right side.

17MM Wrench figure 10 Attention: The joint position of the stainless steel band should be near the top and to the inside of the support cradles. Be sure to inspect the tightness of the stainless steel bands every 4-6 months to minimize small gaps. If the stainless steel bands become loose, use the 17mm wrench to tighten.

figure 11a figure 11b 12. Install Short Bench Front Wood Plank, Bench Support Wood, and Short Bench Locate the short bench front wood plank, the bench support wood, and the bench. First, use the provide screws and mount the short bench front wood plank to the short bench supports.

Install the wood cover for right side light wire with the provided screws as seen in figure 13. Next, install the short backrest with accent light using the provided screws.

If you install the barrel sauna under a covered structure where it will not be affected by the weather elements, then it is optional to install the rain cover.

Using the Barrel Sauna 1. When entering the sauna, you can turn ON the light by pressing the “Light 2” button. Please note that the “Light 1” button has not function on this model barrel sauna. See figure 17. 2. Set the stove to the desired temperature, usually between 150 F - 180 F.
Tips for using Your Sauna 1) If you take a hot/warm shower or bath before using your sauna, you may perspire more and experience more comfort. 2) Drink water prior to, during, and after your sauna session to replenish body fluids. 3) The ventilation vent is installed on the sauna and should never be obstructed.

Hyperthermia Danger: the normal body temperature can't rise above 39°C (103°F). Symptoms of excessive hyperthermia include dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and fainting.

The sauna is for indoor use or outdoor use depending on the model. When placed outdoors, a water proof cover or the sauna shingle roof may be installed to cover the sauna room for protection.
