receiver/monitor inputs through the audio/video output
cable. Additionally, the audio/video from the VM-C52E
may be viewed and heard on a standard TV by using the
RF converter unit.
VHS Compact Video Cassette
In the interest of achieving a lighter and even more con-
vient to handle video camera/recorder, the VM-C52E
has been designed to use the smaller and simpler VHS-
C cassette.
This not only reduces the weight, but actu-
ally allows the tape drive mechanism to be simplified
and made more reliable.
The provided cassette adaptor allows playing your tapes
on a standard VHS VTR.
Auto Focus Power Zoom
Lens
The 8:1 autofocus zoom lens uses an infrared beam to
automatically maintain focus and to allow you to zoom
in and out for close-ups or wide angle shots at just the
touch of the zoom button.
Macro feature permits use
as close as 1 cm from the subject.
Automatic White Balance
Your Video Camera/Recorder will automatically main-
tain white balance as lighting conditions change.

The black-and-white electronic viewfinder allows you to
see exactly what is being recorded.
During playback
Operation, recorded material can be viewed on the elec-
tronic viewfinder.
High Speed Shutter
Use this feature to shoot tennis and golf shots that con-
tain rapid movement.
You can replay the still pictures
at the crucial moments without any fluctuations.
Video/Audio
Dub

quickly insert new video or new audio into existing
tapes.
PRECAUTION
@ No water, dust or sand
Be careful that no water, dust or sand enters the

accidents.
@ Do not leave the viewfinder lens facing sunlight for
a prolonged period, or the phosphorescent surface of
the cathode ray tube may be damaged.
Moisture condensation

and the humidity is high, moisture can form on the
metal surface of the recording mechanism.

happens, the tape could be damaged.
To prevent
damage the camera/recorder will not operate ex-
cept for EJECT.
Should "DEW"
