Set Controls :

PICTURE POSITION

Receive Philips pattern.
CHANNEL INDICATOR
1.
Set
Band
select
switch
to VHF
or
UHF
position.
UHF

Adjust the Bright control ( VR601 ) where the flicker is most noticeable point.
2.
Adjust COM Adj. ( VR604 ) so that no flicker occurs.

Adjust fo Adj. ( VR401 ) for best horizontal position.
VHF
Move
the indicator bar to lowest available
channel position.
(Ex. CH2)
Adjust the VHF position control ( VR902 ) for
best picture and sound.
Move the indicator bar to highest available
channel position.
(Ex. CH 12)
Adjust the VHF width control ( VR904 ) for
best picture and sound.
Check each channel position.
If the indication bar is out of the proper po-
sition
more
than
0.5 CH,
repeat steps
1
through 5.
UHF
Move the indicator bar to highest available
channel position.
(Ex. CH 69)
Adjust the UHF width control ( VR903 ) for
best picture and sound.
Move
the indicator
bar to lowest available
channel position.
(Ex. CH 21)
Adjust the UHF position control ( VR901 ) for
best picture and sound.
Check each channel position.
If the indication bar is out of the proper po-
sition
more
than
0.5 CH,
repeat steps
1
through 5.
