4. To fully open glass and fold down for easy service, remove the thumb screws on either side of the glass
to allow the slides to engage. Note: The cylinders are no longer supporting the glass when the screws
are removed. Brace the glass when performing this action and slowly allow the glass to swing down
and come to rest.
5. To remove the front glass, remove the screw holding the cylinder rod to the glass mount hardware.
Note: The cylinders are no longer supporting the glass when screws are removed. Brace the glass
while performing this action. Once the screws are removed, lift and close the glass in an upright
position. Remove the screws holding the hinge to the glass bracket hardware. Once removed, the
glass can be lifted from the firebox and placed on a soft, non-abrasive surface.
