Searching a recording by date
- Date search
You can automatically search for the point wh_,re the recording date changes and start
playback froin that point (Date search).Use the Remote Commander for this operation.
Use this function to check where recording dates change, or to edit the tape at each
recording dat_.

(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2) Press SEARCH MODE on the Remote Commander repeatedly, until the date
search indicator appears.
The indicator changes as follows:
_DATE SEARCH --., PHOTO SEARCH_
no indicator *-- PHOTO SCAN* J
(3) When the current position is [b], press _ to search towards [a] or press
to search towards [¢]. Your caincorder automatically starts playback at the
point where the date changes.
Each time you press t.<1< or b.-IH, the camcorder searches for the previous or
next date.
