4. PERFORMANCE
MEMORY
The YPP-35 Performance Memory function allows you to record, and play back, up to 4 original songs.

A. Selecting a Song/Voice
C. Playback
First, select a song number you wish by repeatedly
pressing the SONG SELECT button (10) until the
appropriate indicator (1,2,3 or 4) lights up. Next,
select the voice you want by pressing the desired
Voice Select button.
1) Procedure
To listen to the song you've recorded, press the
PLAY button (12). The YPP-35 will play back your
song in the voice you selected when recording. To

stop playback, press the PLAY button again.

Press the red RECORD button (11). The Record
Indicator will light up, and recording will start as soon
as you play the first note of your song.
Your
performance will be stored in the YPP-35 internal
memory.
To finish recording, press the RECORD
button again, and recording automatically stops.
2) Memory Capacity
The total number of notes that can be stored in the
YPP-35 Memory is up to 1,500. When the memory
capacity has been exceeded, the Indicator above
the RECORD
button turns off, which means that
what you are playing is no longer being recorded.
Along with the actual notes, played touch (volume of
sound), when the foot switch was depressed, and
tempo change by the metronome are also stored, as
well as the voice you selected.

This replaces the
previous song with a new song of a single note, and
saves some memory space for the song.

recording it.
