Is 18.6 V
present at the emitter

Yes
Is approx.
12.8 V present
at Pin 7 of

Does platter
rotate when Pin 5 and
8 of IC1 are short-
circuited?
Connect.
Replace.
Check the trans-
former for dis-
connected wires
and
damaged
printed pattern
Check X802,D802
Turntable con-
tinues rotating
when rotated
by hand?
Yes
