POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
The convenient 3-way power supply system gives you a choice of the most appropriate power supply unit, de-
pending on the application.
CAUTION
®No function is available without power
supply.
®Do not use any power supply other than
specified.
@Never attempt to use these power supply
units with any equipment other than the
VideoMovie.
When AC power is not available
Use the battery packs:
@BN-V5GU (Regular)
@BN-V6GU (High-capacity)
@BN-V7GU (Super High-capacity)
Note:
The
battery
pack
has been
kept in the
uncharged
state for shipment.
Therefore,
before use, be sure to charge it. See page
27.
Attaching the Battery Pack
@ Pull down the battery pack release lever.
@ Align the battery pack over the outline
in the battery pack mount, and slide the
battery pack into place in the direction
of the arrow.

up on
the battery
pack release
lever, until it locks into place.
To remove the battery pack, pull down
the battery pack release lever and slide
out the battery.

Use the provided AA-V6EG AC power adapter/battery
charger.
Note:
This unit can be used with
110V
to 240V
power
supplies. Selection is automatic and no adjustment is
required,

Make sure the unit is in the Stop mode. Press the
EJECT button. The cassette holder will open.

Use the optionat AP-P1E car battery cord or BH-V5E
car battery charger.
@Leave the car's engine idling when using the car bat-
tery. (For use with 12 V negative-grounded cars only.)
Insert the cassette with its label facing outward.
Ensure that tape is not slack inside the cassette,
then load the cassette correctly. See page 3.
Close the cassette holder by pushing its centre
area,
@When not in use, switch off power.

@Do
not repeat loading and unloading of the
cassette without running the tape, as this will
slacken the tape, causing tape damage.

Close the cassette holder by pushing its centre
area.
