Changing the password
1. Press SETUP in the stop mode, and then press •
or • to select Rating Level.
2. Press I_, and then use number buttons to key in a
4-digit password.
3. Press "4, and then press • or • to select New
Password.
4. Press I1_,and then enter a 4 digit password.
Enter it again when requested.
5. Press SETUP to resume normal playback.
TV Screen
You can watch TV in various picture formats.
1. Press SETUP in the stop mode, and then press •
or • to select TV Screen.
2. Press I1_,and then press • or • to select 4 : 3 LB,
4 : 3 PS, or16 : 9 Wide.
3. Press ENTER.
4. Press SETUP to resume normal playback.
Note :
Depending on the disc,the TVscreen featuf_ may
not be available.
Disc OSD language selection
The on-screen display can be shown on the screen in
your specified language.
1. Press SETUP in the stop mode, and then press •
or • to select OSD Language.
2. Press I_, and then press • or • to select your
desired language.
All the on screen displays will appear in the
selected language.
3. Press SETUP to resume normal playback.
Digital audio output
You can select the output for SPDIF (Sony/Philips
Digital Interface).
1. Press SETUP in the stop mode, and then press •
or • to select Digital Output.
2. Press I1_,and then press • or • to select OFE
RAW (Original SPDIF signal), or PCM (Pulse
Code Modulation: Encodes SPDIF signal to
PCM).
3. Press ENTER.
4. Press SETUP to resume normal playback.
DRC [Dynamic Range Compression)
Confines the audio range to prevent excessively loud
sound yet allows you to hear the low sounds clearl>
1. Press SETUP in the stop mode, and then press •
or • to select Special.
2. Press I1_,and then press • or • to select DR(-: Off"
(Decrease the DR(: range) or DR(-: On (Reset the
DRC range to original values).
