USIM Card

USIM Card is an IC card containing phone number and other
customer information.
Handling USIM Card

・Always keep the IC chip clean.
・Wipe clean with a dry, soft cloth.
・Avoid applying labels. May damage USIM Card.
USIM Card Cautions
Observe the following when using USIM Card.
・Customer is responsible for any damage caused by
inserting USIM Card in an other-brand IC card reader, etc.
SoftBank Corp. is not responsible in such case.
・USIM Card is the property of SoftBank Corp.
・USIM Card is replaceable (at cost) in case of loss/damage.
・Return USIM Card to SoftBank Corp. when cancelling
subscription.
・Returned USIM Cards are recycled for environmental
purposes.
・Note that USIM Card specifications and performance may
change without notice.
・It is recommended that you keep a separate copy of
information that is stored on USIM Card. SoftBank Corp.
is not responsible for damages from stored information
that is lost.
・Always follow emergency procedures to suspend service if
your USIM Card or handset (USIM Card inserted) is lost/
stolen. For details, contact

・Always power off handset before inserting/removing
USIM Card.
・Some services, functions, etc. may have restrictions when
an other-carrier USIM Card is used. SoftBank Corp. does
not guarantee operation whatsoever.
Inserting USIM Card
Always power off beforehand.
Service.
Insert SIM Removal Pin (complimentary sample) in hole in SIM
Card Tray
Pull out SIM Card Tray
Set USIM Card in SIM Card Tray
・Place gently, noting orientation of USIM Card (notch/IC
(gold) chip facing down).
・Make sure USIM Card is in SIM Card Tray securely.
Insert SIM Card Tray in SIM Card Tray Slot straight
USIM Card is inserted.
・Press firmly where circled ○, and make sure there is no gap
between handset and SIM Card Tray.
