Rebound Damping
CRF1100A/AL/AL2/D/DL/D2/DL2
You can adjust the rebound damping by the
adjuster to suit the load or the road surface.
Turn the adjuster using the Standard/Phillips
screwdriver provided on the underside of the
rear seat.

Turn clockwise to increase rebound damping
(hard), or turn counterclockwise to decrease
rebound damping (soft).
CRF1100A/D/D2
The standard position is 8 clicks from the
maximum setting so that the punch mark on
the adjuster aligns with the reference punch
mark.
CRF1100AL/AL2/DL/DL2
The standard position is 15 clicks from the
maximum setting so that the punch mark on the
adjuster aligns with the reference punch mark.

Do not turn the adjuster beyond its limits.
NOTICE
The rear shock absorber damper unit contains high
pressure nitrogen gas. Do not attempt to disassemble,
service, or improperly dispose of the damper. See your
dealer.
