How to load the disc
@
Be certain to place the disc in the guide in the center of the disc
holder.
@
Press the disc holder open/close button
( A OPEN/CLOSE).
The
disc holder will then close automatically.
@ When
the disc has been loaded, it is automatically
rotated for a
few seconds
and track
number({Q) is read out on the display.
After
the rotation
stops and the disc loading
is complete,
the
total number of tracks on the disk is displayed under TRACK
NO,
the total playback time is displayed under TIME. The DISC
in-
dicator lights.

When the disc holder is closed, the disc will be loaded even if the
play button (» PLAY) or pause button ([] PAUSE) is pushed. If
PLAY is pushed at this time, playback automatically begins at the
first track.
Caution:

Becareful not to place any foreign objects in the disc tray. This may result in malfunction.

@ Turn the power switch ON, and load a

(2) Press the play key (PPLAY).

The
track
number,
index
number,
and
playback time of the track being played
are displayed.

If the disc is warped or dirty and the informa-
tion
on
its innermost
track
cannot
be read
properly,
the display will appear as shown
in
the
diagram
below.
This
may
cause
delays

in the location of the beginning of a track.
