Playing CDs (normal
play)
After-you insert up to five CDs at one time,
you can play all tracks or discs in the
original order consecutively (normal play).
Besides, you can play them in four modes:
normal, shuffle, program or repeat.
Before you play the CD, decrease the sound
level by turning the VOLUME control
counterclockwise, to prevent damage to the
speakers.

DISPLAY
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until "CD"
appears in the display.
CD is selected.
2 Press 2 OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc
trays.
3 Holding the CD by the edge, place the
CD on the disc tray with the label side
up. (When you play an 8-cm CD, place it
without an adaptor on the inner circle of
the disc tray.)
4 Press DISC SKIP to place up to four
more CDs in the tray.
The next tray appears each time you
press DISC SKIP.
The disc on the front tray will be
selected first.
5 press 2 OPEN/CLOSE again.
The disc number appears in the display.

6 Press CONTINUE on the remote to
choose whether to play "1 DISC" or
"ALL DISCS".

All CDs consecutively in
the order of disc number.
Empty disc trays are
skipped.

7 Press [> (or CD PLAY on the remote)
or DISC 1-5.
Play starts from the beginning of the
selected CD.

8 Adjust the volume.
Turn VOLUME clockwise to turn up the
volume, or counterclockwise to turn
down. (Or press VOL +/- on the
remote.)
