    Getting Started Purpose The purpose of this guide is to provide the purchaser of the equipment described herein, with a comprehensive set of information covering all the operational and functional aspects of the equipment. This guide is the primary reference source for personnel involved with installing, commissioning and maintaining this equipment.

    The WAP connects to a wired router, Ethernet switch or hub via an Ethernet cable, and transmits a Wi-Fi signal within a designated area making it accessible by other Wi-Fi ® capable devices, cap lamps, telephones, Nautitech Data Profilers, etc. By installing the Access Point throughout an entire mine site, users (machines and personell) may roam freely from one place to another without experiencing network interruptions as Wi-Fi connected devices shift seamlessly from one access point to the next without losing connection.
