FAVOURITE TRACK SELECTIONS

ERASING A FAVOURITE TRACK SELECTION
(FTS and CLEAR)
• Press FTS.
- FTS starts flashing.
- FTS PROGRAM - PL A V - SHUFFLE - CANCEL appears on
the display twice.
• Press CLR(clear).
- CLP OOO lights up.
• Select the ranking number of the selection you wish to
erase, by using TRACK ►! or !◄ TRACK.
• Press CLR(clear) again.
- FTC Chi /CELLED lights up.
- The selection has now been erased.
If you do not know the ranking number:
• Load the CD and close the CD compartment.
• Press FTS.
- FTS starts flashing.
- FTC PROGRAM - FLfiV - SHUFFLE - lFiNCEL appears on
the display twice.
• Press CLR(clear).
- CLP lights up with next to it the ranking number of this
selection.
• Press CLR(clear) again.
-FTC CANCELLED lights up.
- The selection has now been erased.
ERASING THE ENTIRE FTS MEMORY
(FTS, REPEAT and CLEAR)
• Press FTS.
- FTS starts flashing.
-FTC PROGRAM-PLAT-SHUFFLE-CANCEL appears on
the display twice.
• Press REPEAT and CLR(cIear) simultaneously.
- CLP ALL lights up.
• Press CLR(clear) again.
- CANCELLED lights up followed by ALL FTh CANCELLED.
- The entire FTS memory has now been erased.
FTC liCTIl 'E lights up if you press any other button.
PERSONAL PRESETS (PRESETS)

In the PRESETS mode you can store your preferred settings
for a number of functions in the player's memory.
All settings will remain stored in the memory, even if you
switch it off.
PRESETS RETIRE lights up if you press a 'wrong' key
while setting.
Opening the PRESETS memory
• Press PRESETS.
- PRESETS REOIEU-FRDER-SPREE-SCRH-FLOY
appears on the display twice.
- While this message is being displayed the PRESETS memory
is open. The first setting should therefore be selected within
this time, otherwise the player will go back to STOP mode.
You can now set the following functions in any required order:
Fade-in and fade-out time (FADER)
• Press FADER.
- FADER lights up with next to it the set fade-in/fade-out time.
• Key in the required time; minimum 2 seconds and maximum
10 seconds.
- PRESET STORED lights up; the fade-in/fade-out time has
now been set.
• Select the next setting or press STOP/CP, PRESETS or
FADER again to go back to STOP mode.
Scan time (SCAN)
• Press SCAN.
- SCAN lights up with next to it the set scan time.
• Key in the required time; minimum 10 seconds and maximum
30 second^.
- PRESET SI OREL) lights up; the scan time has now been set.
• Select the next setting or press STOP/CP, PRESETS or
SCAN again to go back to STOP mode.
Extra pause (AUTO SPACE)
• Press AUTO SPACE.
- SPACE lights up with next to it the set pause time.
• Key in the required pause time; minimum 0 seconds and
maximum 9 seconds.
- PRESET STORED lights up; the extra pause has now been set.
• Select the next setting or press STOP/CP, PRESETS or
AUTO SPACE again to go back to STOP mode.
Play mode (PLAY)
Depending on what play mode you select, after switching on
the player or closing the CD compartment by hand, play will
automatically begin with:
- the whole CD (AUTO-PUW);
- the tracks of the CD in a random order (AUTO-SHUFFLE);
- the FTS programme of the CD (AUTO-FTS-PLAY);
- the FTS programme in a random order (AUTO-FTS-
SHUFFLE);
If you select AUTO-STOP, then you must start play yourself
with PLAY/REPLAY, SHUFFLE or SCAN.
• Press PLAY/REPLAY.
- AU10 Si OF1 - PL A Y - h MUFFLE -FTS appears on the
display twice.
• Select the required play mode within the time this message
is displayed, otherwise the player will go back to STOP mode.
- If you press STOP/CP (= AUTO-STOP), PLAY/REPLAY (= AUTO-
PUW) or SHUFFLE {= AUTO-SHUFFLE), then PRESET
S i OR ED lights up; the play mode has been set.
- If you press FTS, then FTS PLAT-SHUFFLE appears on
the display.
• You can now select AUTO-FTS-PLAY or AUTO-FTS-SHUFFLE
by pressing the PLAY/REPLAY or SHUFFLE button.
- PRESET STORED lights up; the (FTS) play mode has been set.
• Select the next setting or press STOP/CP, PRESETS or FTS
again to go back to STOP mode.
