    These parts are made and tested to Bush Hog specifications. Non-genuine "will fit" parts do not consistently meet these specifications. The use of “will fit” parts may reduce equipment performance, void warranties, and present a safety hazard. Use genuine Bush Hog parts for economy and safety.

Carefully read the Operator’s Manual completely, understand the Safety Messages and instructions, and know how to operate correctly both the tractor and plow. Record the Model and Serial Numbers on Warranty Page at the front of the Operator’s Manual. Keep this as part of the permanent maintenance file for the Implement.

    3.3 Tractor 3-Point Hitch For the Plow, the tractor 3-point hitch must be rated to lift at least 206 lbs. for the APP48-3, 228 lbs. for the APP60-5, 284 lbs for the APP66-5, 367 lbs for the APP66-7, 386 lbs for the APP85-7 and 455 lbs for the APP85-9.

    Place the tractor shift lever into a low range or parking gear to prevent the tractor from rolling. Never dismount a Tractor that is moving or while the engine is running.     Make certain that the “Slow Moving Vehicle” (SMV) sign is installed in such a way as to be clearly visible and legible.
