8. Apply a thin coat of engine oil to the
rubber seal of a new oil filter.
9. Install a new oil filter and tighten.
Torque: 26 N·m (2.7 kgf·m, 19 lbf·ft).
10. Replace the O-ring and apply a thin coat
of engine oil to the new O-ring when
before installing it.
11. Install the oil strainer screen, spring and
drain cap tighten.
Torque: 15 N·m (1.5 kgf·m, 11 lbf·ft).

12. Fill the crankcase with the recommended
oil ( P. 48) and install the oil fill cap/
dipstick.
Required oil
When changing oil &
engine oil filter:
2.2 litres (2.3 US qt, 1.9 Imp qt)
When changing oil only:
2.0 litres (2.1 US qt, 1.8 Imp qt)
13. Check the oil level.
14. Check that there are no oil leaks.
