Taking pictures of people under back-lighted
situations where the sun or bright sky is behind the
subject may produce underexposed pictures. In
such a case, release the shutter while keeping the
Exposure Compensation Lever depressed in the
direction of the arrow; the subjects will then be
exposed correctly.
