Falling Asleep to Music
You can set the CD cassette-corder to turn on and/or off at
a certain time. This is convenient when you want to wake

up or go to sleep to music or (CFD-768 only) record a radio different music
program when you are out. To fall asleep to music use the
sleep timer. 1 Set the wake up timer by following steps 1 - 9 in
Waking Up to Music on the next page.
2 Activate the sleep function by following steps 1 - 3 in
FUNCTION Falling Asleep to Music on this page.
1 Press one of the three FUNCTION buttons for the type
of music you want to fall asleep to: TAPE, RADIO or
CD.
2 Play the desired music source.
To play Press
a Tape ® PLAY
the Radio BAND, and tune in a station
aCD 00
3 Press SLEEP.
"SLEEP" appears in the display window. The CD
cassette-corder plays for 120 minutes, then shuts off
automatically.
* Note that the display back light does not function while the sleep
timer is operating.
To cancel the sleep function
Press SLEEP again or turn off the power.
