This TV is capable of displaying two pictures simultaneously. This is called the Picture-in-Picture function. A TV broad-
- cast picture, or a picture from external source such as a VCR, can be displayed as a small picture.
lYlote: The signal sources input through the ANT-2 terminal cannot be displayed as a small picture.

To display a TV broadcast picture as a srnai'l picture

Turn on the TV and select the desired
program.

Press PIP once to display a small picture.
The 1/9 size window picture will appear.
If you press twice, the 1/16 size window
picture will appear.
Press PIP CH Y/A to select the desired
program for the small picture.
To turn off the small picture, press PIP
again.
Small picture
To display a picture from an external source as a small picture
Connect external source equipment for the _mall picture. (For connec-
tion, see pages 38 and 39.)

Turn on the TV and select the desired
program.
2 Press PIP to display a small picture.

Press SOURCE repeatedly to select the
input source (TV, VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2) for
the small picture.
The selected source will be displayed in
magenta.

To turn off the small picture, press PIP
- Twice, if you watch the 1/9 size window picture.
- Once, if you watch the 1/16 size window picture.
