Setting
the distance
to the subject
Focus
preset
Mode dial: aP/SCN/_t_
When shooting an image using a previously
set distance to the subject, or when shooting
a sut_iect through a net or through window
glass, it is difficult to get the proper focus in
auto focus mode. In fiaese cases, use of the
Focus preset is convenient.

The menu appears.

then select the distance
to the
subject
with &IT.
You can select from _fie following
distance settings
0.5m, 1.0m, 3.0m, 7.0m and
(infinity)
To reactivate

focusing

[Multi AF] or [Cenwr AF].

Adjusting

exposure
EV adjustment

This lets you adjust
the exposure
value
which
is set by automatic
adjustment.
You

in steps of I/3EV.
