CHECK
1. Connect a DC voltmeter to pin 15 of U101 on the Record/Play
back PCB.
2. The DC voltage should be +12 V. (See Fig. 3-1)
Adjustments and checks are generally done in order of
L-ch, then R-ch. Double reference numbers indicate L-
ch/R-ch.
(Example: R121/R221)
The value of "dB" refers to 0 dB (0.775 V). If an AC
voltmeter calibrated to 0 dB (1 V) is used, compensa-
tion should be made accordingly.
