USING THE CUISINART ONE CUP GRIND & BREW COFFEE MAKER BEFORE FIRST USE Before using your One Cup Grind & Brew Coffee Maker for the first time, ensure all packaging is removed and clean all parts thoroughly. Initial Cleaning Remove the water tank from the unit and wash in warm, soapy water.
Making Coffee With Whole Beans 1. Remove the water tank and fill to the max fill line. Replace back onto the unit. If the water level is lower than the minimum fill, the ‘Add Water’ indicator light will illuminate. 2. Remove the bean hopper lid and add beans. Note: The bean hopper holds up to 100g of beans and the airtight lid keeps them fresh.

5. Press the grind button to start the grind process. The conical burr mill is set to automatically turn off, once the HomeBarista™ is full. 6. Remove the HomeBarista™ from the holder, making sure there are no ground coffee beans on the upper rim of the filter basket, before closing the lid.
Cleaning & Maintenance Before first use and after every use, clean each part thoroughly. Always turn the coffee maker off and remove the plug from the mains before cleaning. Do not use scouring agents or harsh cleaning agents on any other parts of the appliance.
