Before
you begin...
• Connect Camcorderto power source.
• Insert cassette with record tab (page15),
Press LCD-OPEN to unlock LCD
monitor,
Swing LCD monitor fully open and
adjust viewing angle,
Caution:
Rotating
partially open LCD monitor
may block
cassette
door and damage
Camcorder
body.

Set POWER to CAMERA.
o LCD monitor turns on/off by the
POWER switch.
• EVF shuts off when LCD monitor is
opened and turns back on when
LCD is closed.
• Both EVF and LCD monitor turn on
when LCD is at 180° (see above
left).
This allows both you and the subject
to view the recording.
Turn BRIGHT control to adjust LCD
monitor brightness level.
Press RECORD/PAUSE
to start
recording (page 23).
Note:
• UsingLCD monitor reducesbattery operation
time.
• Return LCD monffor to locked position when not
in use.
