GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The FWC-FSLCPROGPCB programming tool used to
manually confirm or assign a 3-digit "internal device
address" number that is stored within each SLC de-
vice.
These three numbers (decimal 001-127) are
used to identify the SLC device to the alarm system.

Three
buttons
on
FSLCPROGPCB operate as follows.
Left Black Button (SW3)
Hold to power on programmer. Will read and
display sensor address
Press to increment address by ten
Right Black Button (SW1)
This button combines two functions:
Hold to power off programmer
Press to increment address by one
Red Button (SW2)
Press to program address into sensor
Also used to read and display sensor analog levels

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ADDRESS PROGRAMMING
1. Connect the sensor to the programmer using either
the Alligator Clips or the 4-Pin Plug.
2. Press and hold the Left Black Button to power on
the programmer. The current device address will
appear; un-programmed sensors will display the de-
fault address "127". Note: If the battery is low,
"bAt" appears and remains in the display.
3. When the address number is displayed and all three
red dots are flashing at the same time, the unit is in
Address Select Mode. Set the required address

number by pressing the Left Black Button and the
Right Black Button until the desired address num-
ber is displayed.
4. With the desired address number displayed, press
the Red Button to store that address number into
the device.

Notes:
The three red dots turn off when programming is
complete; if no other buttons are pressed, the
unit will automatically power off after 15 seconds.
TS1
When the FWC-FSLCPROGPCB is searching for
and cannot find a device, (i.e. no device is con-
nected or the device is wired backwards) the
three red dots blink in individual order (first, sec-
ond, third).
Just prior to automatically shutting down, the dis-
FWC-
play will read "- - -".
DISPLAY MESSAGES
bAt - Upon power up (battery check) and remains on
when the battery is low. When the Low battery
indication is shown, continue to program normal-
ly. To ensure correct operation, a fresh battery
should be installed as soon as possible.
E0 - Error: Attempting to set an address greater than
number 127.
E1 - Error: Attempting to program an address with no
device connected.
E2 - Error: Cannot find device after power up.
E3 - Error: Invalid sensor response.
E4 - Error: Cannot find the device program.
E5 - Error: Device read error.
E6 - Error: Fail during Analog value reading.
